Hotels/Motels

There is no lodging available within Monument Valley. Lodging is available just outside the park at Kayenta, AZ, 22 miles south. (Rates, availability, traveler review and reservations online)



Camping & RV Parks

Mitten View Campground near the Visitor Center has 99 sites available for a fee.

  • Campsites include a table, grill, ramada and trash barrel.
  • During the summer, a comfort station with restrooms, coin-operated showers and a filling/dump station are available.
  • The campground is open year round on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Reservations are taken for group sites, which are available for $20.

    Fees
  • Summer: Regular camping fees are $10 per site per night for up to 6 campers.
  • Winter: Camping fees are $5.00 per site per night.
